The Big Meaty Christmas Quiz with extra stuffing

To round off 2017 in true thread style we revisited the meaty Christmas quiz stomping ground, Bristol Folk House, with returning quizmaster, Mr Bingo.

This year we saw 22, very lively, teams battle it out for the highly coveted meaty Christmas quiz trophy. With rounds designed to baffle the senses, we asked teams to blind taste popular Christmas food, name this year’s Christmas adverts from snippets of audio and guess a number of 2017 news stories from their emojified description.

In the end, with only two points ahead, it was Table 7 aka ‘Cócksüre von gobbler’ with an impressive score of 49 out of 60 that claimed this year’s title and walked away with the trophy.

3rd: Did you know… it’s known as a ‘Witch’s Kiss’? – 45pts
